Just Humble

Honor the Lord

Written by Kande Murray on June 02nd 2020

It is only humility that will allow us to accept leadership from someone younger than us.

Not all leaders that we are priviledged to be set under will always be an elder, or “look the part”, however if one is appointed that has undergone and passed through the training process spiritually and accademically they are also considered and elder in terms of the wisdom they now have, although you may not be able to see this whilst looking at the age or gender factor.

The Lord will download years of wisdom in a short time spance onto someone whom he has chosen to represent his Kingdom and lead his people. This does not come easily, it is a very rigourous process of endurance, and he can choose or use anyone to do his will. We are all able, but in order to be used we have to be able to mortify the deeds of the flesh and allow his spirit that dwels in us to guide the process. We all have human imperfections in different ways but our hearts will make the difference.

It is one of the main factors in being chosen to be appointed because we are required to be selfless, and must geneuinely care about persons, wanting to see them accomplish the best in life just as though it were ourselves. Being people centred and having the Christlike love for all is key.

Heart leadership can easily be misunderstood, as being weak, or in other cases being mean, but the motive is to push others to do their best. We do not take a pride in seeing somone make a mockery out of themselves, but feel joyous when we see them at their best potential so will do all we can to encourage them. Sometimes even keeping them on their toes by pushing them out of their comfort zones a bit.

Due to past encounters at different establishments, over the years I have met persons who were not able to accept leadership from someone of their opposite genter, opposite race or not within their age bracket. This is something we have let go of because the Lord sees us all as equal and we have to also see and treat our brothers and sisters equally. Also how we treat people is how our Father in Heaven will treat us.

We have to also be careful not to attempt to exhault ourselves above the knowledge of the Gospel, as the Lord says to acknowledge him in all our ways.

The Lord also says, that he will give Grace to the humble and Pride comes before a fall, so we have to live according this principal and not seek only financial gain and accademic success without including the Gospel, because pride and arrogance goes hand in hand and it is the reason Satan was cast our of heaven.

Proverbs 11:2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

Proverbs 16:8 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

Proverbs 22:4 By Humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life.

Proverbs 18:12 Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility.

Honour the Lord and you will also receive Honour in the day it is due. Honour him also with your substance.

God Bless you all that read this message and thanks for doing so.

Stay Blessed, Stay awesome.
