Apart from the fact that Social Media has so many disadvantages, affecting people mentally and emotionally we need to take into consideration that, we are just tenants on our social media accounts, and will lose the following and the “community” as soon as our accounts are disabled, banned, or simply if the platform goes away, whereas a website is your own space that you purchased on the internet vis a domain name.
While social media has it’s place, it has diminished peoples ability to exercise social etiquette in public and organized gatherings.
